Jesus Christ is my Rock, my Salvation, my Fortress, my Strength, and my Redeemer. He is my very Life. My heart’s greatest desire is to be His obedient disciple and enjoy every day worshiping Him in His glorious presence.
I was born and raised in a Christian home, attended a Christian school, and grew in the knowledge of Jesus as a child. Upon graduating from junior high and enrolling in a public high school, I was no longer surrounded by those who shared my beliefs. I immersed myself in studying the Bible and apologetics. Although I knew about Jesus previously, I believe my personal regenerated life as a Christian began at this time when I was able to examine the teachings of Christ and the Bible for myself, resulting in my repentance, acceptance of Christ’s saving sacrifice, and personal commitment to live as His disciple. After more study and growth during my college years, I met my wife, learned of the Pentecostal experience, and received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
I now delight in identifying with Christ’s death and resurrection and consider everything the world has to offer as rubbish in comparison to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord (Phil. 3:8). My life has been filled to an overflowing abundance by the Holy Spirit’s power and I am passionate about others drawing near to the Lord of Heaven and experiencing His greatness.
