I grew up in an Assemblies of God church, giving my life to Christ at the age of 5. Like so many church kids, I did not realize what it truly meant to be saved until I got up into my teens. I was filled with the Holy Spirit at youth camp at the age of 13. I was baptized in water shortly thereafter. As I went through High School. I stayed pretty dedicated. The last semester of my senior year changed that. My three best friends were not "Christian" kids. One went to church, but didn't really live it. One was a Buddhist and the other wasn't sure. Three of us decided to attend Oklahoma State our freshman year. We got involved in the "Christian" fraternity. At least that is what the two guys recruiting us told us. That November, during youth convention and during rebellion, I was confronted with the presence of the Holy Spirit. I rededicated my life to Christ and was called into full-time ministry. I left Oklahoma State and the next year, attended Evangel. I graduated in 1994 and went right into full-time ministry. Ministry has been joyful and hard. I have been in some bad situations and some good ones. I have learned a lot and will continue to learn more. I am looking forward to the next part of the story God will write for my life. I was married in 2000 and have two children, Gideon and Karis.
