The following advancements have been made while serving as pastor of New Brockton First Assembly:
-Successful transition from a traditional worship service to a blended style with the addition of a keyboard, drums, and worship team.
-Developed a dynamic student ministry with a team-leadership approach. Involved students in ministry through outreach, drama, worship, teaching, and preaching.
-Implemented a Sunday school program. Trained teachers to utilize a variety of teaching methods to enhance Christian education.
-Served as coordinator and instructor of the Edgar W. Bethany Study Center, a study center of Berean School of the Bible.
-Asked to serve on the Education committee for the Alabama District as well as a small group ministry leader for the Enterprise Section.
