I grew up in church. My mother was at church every time the doors were open and had my brother and I in tow. Although I gave my heart to Jesus at a young age, I really committed my life to Him at the age of nineteen. From that time until now, I have continued to grow and mature in the things of God.
God called me into full-time ministry during my late teen years and I never believed that such a high call was for me. It wasn't' until I was about 33 years old, during a time of fasting and prayer, that I finally accepted that call. Beginning as the church administrator at Knollwood Assembly of God and ultimately becoming an associate pastor, I never felt more fulfilled as I stepped into the plan God had for my life.
My wife, Patty, and I have always desired to put God first and to follow His direction no matter where it may lead us. In the summer of 1999, we felt the stirring of the Holy Spirit preparing us for a change in ministry. God led us to resign our ministry positions and take a step of faith to move to Norfolk, Virginia to help with a pioneer church plant work.
God led us to Bethel Temple in Hampton, Virginia a short time later where we became the Young Families Pastors. We have seen God's hand move, not only in our lives, but in the lives of family and friends as a result of the steps of faith we have taken over the years.
We are truly excited about what God has planned for us as we continue our faith adventure.
