As a child I was raised in church and under my mother’s strong Christian convictions. Though morally I was raised right I knew that if I died I was going to Hell. Many nights I would lie in my bed scared that the Rapture would take place and I would be left behind. I knew I needed to ask Jesus in my heart but was afraid of a change.
At the age of 13, I was already headed down a path of destruction with drugs and alcohol. A friend of the family offered to pay for my sister and me to go to a summer youth camp in Bonifay, FL. Of course, we accepted thinking we were going to have a good time and return without a change. The preacher that night, Brother Tommy Moore, preached “Not Being a Trophy in the Devil’s Showcase.” After that message I went to the altar and accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of my life.
Since my conversion I have grown in the Lord more than I could ever imagine. When I turned 15 I hit a rough spot where I backslid and turned my back on God. A year later God accepted His prodigal son home and never once have I looked back. Everything God has allowed me to go through has made me such a strong Christian and more importantly given me a heart and desire to reach the lost. My battles and ultimately my victories have allowed me to be a great witness and speaker to young people; all glory be to God.

Chaplain's Assistant / Funds Clerk 2005 - 2007
US Army, Fort Rucker, AL
Maintained and balanced a budget of $500,000 per year including 11 contracts, four congregation collection funds, five credit card holders and thousands of purchases a year.
