I was raised Catholic. I knew a lot about God but I did not know him personally. When I was young, there was a friend of mine whose family was born again. I remember vividly being impacted by they way they lived their lives.
When I grew older that memory stuck with me. I was 19 years old playing in a bar band with long hair and one night a friend of the bands came down to hang out with us. The friend was a guy who was born again. For some crazy reason all of us greatly respected him and it was that night I began to ask question about what it meant to be born again.
As a result 10 hours later at 5:30am I gave my life to the Lord in my old Delta 88 in a Grocery Store Parking Lot!
My life dramatically changed and the Lord has cleaned out a lot in my past. Today I am married to my lovely wife Rachel and we have three awesome boys Jayden (6), Sam (4), and Wes (1).

Though I show extensive experience in the area of multimedia, my first passion and calling is to impact the lives of young people with the good news of the Gospel.
Here is a brief synopsis of my vision...
(taken from the current youth ministry I have overseen)
Our vision at Student Edge is to be as culturally relevant to our teens and un-churched teens as we possibly can while maintaining biblical integrity. This means we must be willing to change any of our methods, programs or ministry components for the sake of being culturally relevant to them. This requires that we be knowledgeable of the world of teenagers so that we may mirror that world. In the process of mirroring, we do not conform to the patterns of the world, but instead reflect what we find as it relates to Jesus Christ and the gospel. We choose to mirror the teenage world in order to relate to teens and then to communicate, in relevant and proper jargon, the good news of the gospel. That is our missional mandate (1 Cor. 9:22).
In order to become relevant to teens, we must examine and become experts on what they value. Teens value relationships and image or appearance. Therefore since our vision is to be culturally relevant, we strive to care about relationships and presentation (that is huge!)
